Outreach For Jesus is an organization set up to use the resources that God has blessed us with to help others. Specifically, we help orphanages, old peoples homes and other small organizations. We try to focus our aid to those individuals and organizations that are providing a service to help better society but are severely limited by a lack of money, manpower or other resources. Most of our work consists of cleaning, carpentry, roofing, electrical, concrete, and painting as well as, interaction with the adults and children that we work with and around. Our witness is not so much shared with preaching and talking, mostly due to the language barrier, but is emphasized by working together to express the way that followers of Christ behave and live practically.
It is not always necessary to travel a long distance to help somebody. Most of us are surrounded by people in need, but there is a value in seeing different parts of the world and it often helps to open our eyes to the needs in our own neighborhoods
